The Honey & Apple Day

The Honey & Apple Day - Harvest Market at Korrö

A day full of activities at Korrö handicraft village. Harvest market, best honey & best apple pie contest, music entertainment, lectures (beekeeping, garden, forest), exhibitions, handicraft. 

Kronoberg´s best honey will be announced, prices to the winner. Come and taste the honey and vote for the best one!

Apple-cake contest - Deliver your own home-made apple-cake, the jury will then taste the cakes and present a winner. 

Entrance fee: 60SEK/adult, children up to 15 years, free.

PROGRAM

11:00-16:00 - Harvest market, locally produced products, Korrö handicraftsmen, lectures, interactive theatre. 

11:20-11:30 - Dog show with Voff Hundcentrum

11:30-12:15 - Lecture #1 - Eva Uppsäll, Stubbalycke (garden flowers)

12:30-12:50 - Music by AMB

13:00-13:30 - Lecture # 2 - Linda Theander-Månsson (forest-mushrooms)

13:30-13:50 - Music by AMB

14:00-14:30 - Lecture # 3 - Hästrikets biodlarförening about "A journey in the world of the bee"

14:45-15:15 - Lecture # 4 - Tessan Nordeman (beekeeping)

15:00 - The jury gathers to decide on the winners

15:15-15:35 - Announcement of the winner of the best honey of the year and the best apple-pie
