How does it work? 

Under the canopy of the trees, through narrow passages and on Småland´s lakes the Ronney river flows. From the lake "Rottnen" in the north to the city of Ronneby in the south. This 70 kilometer long stretch fits old and young. 

Canoeing suits both those who want to experience a couple of days in the nature, and those who just want to paddle for a couple of hours with family, friends and bringing a pic-nic basket. Korrö has all equipment that you need for a successful trip. There are accommodation and hostels along the route, or bring your tent and camp at one of the camping sites. (Small service charge for camping). 
The most popular canoeing option is to rent a canoe 1-4 hours, and paddle from Korrö to the beautiful halting-place in Svartabäck, and then paddle back to Korrö. Longer daytrips are also possible.

What makes a good day trip?
A favorite option is to rent a canoe and pack a picnic basket for a scenic trip down to the Svartabäck rest area – about 45 minutes one way. At Svartabäck, relax, enjoy your picnic, and take in the beautiful surroundings before paddling back to Korrö.

For a longer adventure, continue down to Bro. This route takes around 1.5–2 hours of paddling one way, followed by the return journey.

How many people can fit in a canoe?
Each canoe has two standard seats, with the option to add up to two extra seats. Typically, a canoe fits two adults and two children, or three adults comfortably.

Is it difficult to paddle back the same way?
Not at all! The current is gentler than you might think, and paddling back usually takes about the same time.

Are life jackets included?
Yes! All safety equipment is included in the rental price and comes in a variety of sizes, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Do I need to book? How can I reserve a canoe?
We highly recommend booking in advance, especially during the busy summer months (June–August) when demand is high. Reservations can be made either through our “Booking Request” form or by calling us directly.

Do I need to book canoe transport in advance?
Yes. Canoe transport should be arranged 2–3 weeks in advance. We offer transport during January–May and August–December, depending on availability and water conditions. Please note that transport is not available during the peak summer season.
